This is a post for my Dad, Henry on Father's day. His empowering parenting style and resilience fostered my sisters and my independence and strength. Dad's unconditional love, faith, and commitment to uplifting women have profoundly shaped us. Henry Evans Hooper's legacy as a father, teacher, and role model impacts all who know him and we are so grateful this Father's Day in 2024.

Today, I say goodbye to the traditional licensed therapy route, and hello to coaching. I release the broken system. This blog shares the story of why I decided not to become a therapist but instead go the coaching route.

I am inspired to write this because a kind, gorgeous and strong holistic psychotherapist and colleague of mine named Cody Wiggs died in 2021. Cody’s mission is to share the power of psychedelics and nature based healing. I feel compelled to share the last conversation we had together before he passed away because I share his mission too. His sharing has given me the courage to share as well. Thank you Cody!

How letting go of 'the dream partner list' led me to true love. In this blog, I share my journey from pursuing "unavailable men" to finding true love. As a Marriage and Family Therapy student, I realized I was choosing the wrong partners. Inspired by books, psychedelics, and manifestation practices, I visualized my ideal relationship, imagining my heart as a magnet to my one true love. I would have missed him if I had stayed "attached" to the list. Thank goodness I let it go and embraced the wonderful human who is now my beloved husband Jon Medina.
